Merchant account...when?
I always thought about having our own merchant account on PiediCash sites, but always had this question in mind (that i hope someone will help me answer):
Which factors do we have to take in consideration? What should make us decide to have our own merchant account?

If your business has been growing and achieving a better income you should definitely consider it and you will save a lot more money!
By having your own merchant account ( direct merchant account ):
- way lower rates (between 6% and 3.5%) depends on the monthly volume
- flexibility with risk settings: you will have your personal risk manager (at least with us) that will fine tune together with you the acceptance ratio’s maximizing your income
- you chose your own descriptor that will appear on your customers credit cards statement (which lowers big time the chargeback ratio's )
- you have your own MID, no other merchants can “harm” your MID
