Thread: General question to my Euro Neighbors.

How are prices in the stores and shops near you. We have noticed that the stores are actually LOWERING the prices here. At least for the time being.

Exactly, i didn't really notice ANY change in prices...

We have noticed a drop on some things. we are also lucky that here the government puts price caps on some things. Like Milk sugar and Tortillas.

Sounds silly dont it?? But you would be amazed how many are sold here. They are sold by the KILO. 2.2POUNDS. Every store, Including Wal Mart has a small area where they make them all day long.

In fact, wal marts is 24 hours.

nope - unfortunately haven't noticed that yet. just gas went down from € 1,60 to about € 1 to € 1,10 per lliter

Lucky you. For us, the price of gas is actually going UP. 1 cent per month. They enacted the law to raise the price to match that of the US eventually. But now the price is down in the US, Much lower in fact, they have done nothing to stop the price increase here, and most likely wont.

we are paying 2.86 per gallon right now.

But when the US was paying 4$ per I was paying 2.80

Alot would, But I would love to see the price come down some here
