Mobile Carrier Expansion in Latin America and Australia

“LatAm is a key developing market with smartphone penetration growing exponentially,” Global Sales Director Richard Cottrell said. “According to the report ‘Mobile Latinoamerica 2103’ by Guialocal.com, internet connection via smartphones and tablets in the continent is showing impressive incremental levels: Costa Rica led LatAm in 2013 with a 332-percent increase. Brazil was No. 2 in the growth of mobile internet users with a 244-percent increase, followed by Argentina (221 percent), Colombia (216 percent), Mexico (213 percent), Chile (185 percent), Peru (166 percent), El Salvador (161 percent) and Venezuela (161 percent).

“This, coupled with year-on-year growth of smartphone adoption and tablet purchases, is revealing LatAm to be a market ready to be monetized with digital advertising,” he added. “Part of our sales strategy is to ensure ExoClick is at the forefront of the LatAm mobile revolution, so our advertisers have unprecedented access to LatAm consumers’ devices.”

Cottrell said the company has deals in place with 14 mobile carriers in 11 Latin American countries.
