Studio20’s First Year in Franchising Yields Big Results

In 2016, Studio20 became the world’s first cam studio to franchise its operations. During its first year, the company turned a profit that exceeded its expectations.BUCHAREST, Romania – In 2016, Studio20 became the world’s first cam studio to franchise its operations. During its first year, the company turned a profit that exceeded its expectations.

“Studio20 has managed, through its online entertainment services offered by 500 cam models, to reach $9 million turnover in 2016,” said manager Robert Vanderty.

The three studios in Bucharest, Romania, brought in 60 percent of the total revenue, followed by the studios in Cluj, Timisoara and Craiova, Romania; Cali, Colombia; and Los Angeles. According to the company’s statistics, those who most often access Studio20 sites are senior managers in information technology and at banks, actors, dancers and singers between 25 and 55 years old, with an above-median income, mostly from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries.

Vanderty said the first Studio20 Men has exceeded expectations, too. Opened last year in Bucharest, the male-model-staffed property brought in more than $5,000 per month after three months in operation.

“Studio20 Men has done the impossible,” Vanderty said. “We did not expect the cam studio opened in November to succeed through 15 male models and to exceed $19,000 after the first three months.”

A new Studio20 franchise opened March 1 in Oradea, Romania. The franchisee invested €100,000 in the new glamour studio.

“We hope to have sales of approximately $50,000 per month with the new Studio20 in Oradea by the end of 2017,” said Studio20 PR and Marketing Manager Andra Chirnogeanu. “Following that, in 2018 Studio20 Oradea will successfully contribute with over $600,000 to the turnover of the entire Studio20 Cam Studio Franchise.”

More than 30 girls work in the new cam studio. Located in the central part of the city and occupying 350 square meters of space, Studio20 Oradea comprises 14 tastefully decorated rooms with a variety of themes specific to the glamour niche.

“We are already in the preparation for the following two cities where we will open the studios: Ploiesti and Brasov [Romania], and we’re also working at the completion of the contract for the Studio20 Budapest,” Chirnogeanu said. “We’re expanding fast, and we’re going big. It’s not easy and it’s a lot of work, but when you’re passionate about something you do it with a smile on your face.”
