Most recently, the company set its sights on Spain.

“Spain is filled with strapping, virile men with a lot of passion, and our company’s poll numbers certainly reflect that,” said Director of Marketing Megan Wozniak. “We compiled an impressive list of facts and figures that try to pinpoint what is popular there, and — surprise! — it’s not that different from the U.S.”

AE’s rankings place Spain 12th in the world in porn consumption; 90 percent of Spanish porn viewers are male. Most of them (65 percent) use a desktop computer rather than a mobile device. According to AE’s statistics, the average Spanish porn consumer lasts about four minutes online and is horniest on Sundays. Thursday is Spain’s least horny day of the week.

Spaniards loves American porn stars, according to the survey results. Lana Rhoades, Holly Hendrix, Kendra Lust and Mia Malkova are the five most popular adult entertainers, capturing 67 percent of viewers between the ages of 25 and 44. The most searched online terms included “I love my mom,” “Squirtaholic,” “anal sex slave,” “anal tartlets” and “Anal Vision.”

“Our research shows that in Europe, and pretty much across the Western world, we get recurrent interests and favorite search terms within the same genres, which is interesting to note,” said Wozniak. “As far as porn trends go, some things are just universally enjoyed.”
