The company views the website as a central location for collecting new feature suggestions and enhancements, all of which will be considered, a spokesperson said.

“Our merchants have been giving us great insight on the features they need, and we’ve been listening,” said Chief Executive Officer Cathy Beardsley. “We developed our Ideas Portal because we wanted to let our clients know that they have a voice in what we do. There’s no better place to get advice than directly from merchants who use the portal every day.”

Based on merchant feedback, the company already has developed new features and enhancements to improve the user experience at its recently launched merchant portal. The ideas portal encourages merchants to keep sharing their thoughts and ideas about how to make SegPay better, Beardsley said.

Based on the feedback so far, some of the current features undergoing updates include:

Retention tools. SegPay is working hard to allow the reactivation of cancelled subscriptions and the ability to suspend or temporarily pause subscriptions.

Alternative payments. SegPay’s planned alternative payments include SEPA, Giropay, iDEAL, EPS, Astropay, Trustpay, PostFinance and Teleingreso.

Merchants are encouraged to check the ideas portal to see what suggestions are in the pipeline and vote for their favorites.

“We want our merchant portal to be an ongoing, collaborative process,” said Jeff Rozenzweig, vice president of operations. “We encourage merchants to continue to provide feedback for what they want. For example, are there specific retention tools or alternative payments they want to see? What other features and reports would be helpful for them? Our clients’ ideas matter, and we want to hear them.”

The company updated its merchant portal last month to include new and enhanced capabilities for SegPay clients. The updates made the portal faster and simpler to navigate. The site also now provides an intuitive interface so merchants can easily pull reports to see the latest metrics about transactions. Through the updated portal, business owners may access and manage account information from virtually any device at any time.

The new ideas portal is located at YourIdeasMatter.ideas.aha.io.
