Lustery: Real People Sharing Real Videos

Paulita Pappel launched Lustery in late December to provide “a different kind of porn experience.” PFÄFFIKON, Switzerland – Voyeurs, exhibitionists and swingers may want to visit a brand-new video-sharing website that accepts only homemade porn.

Paulita Pappel launched Lustery in late December to provide “a different kind of porn experience.” Within two weeks, the site had 50 members.

“After scrolling through many different kinds of porn, I realized I most enjoyed watching sex videos that are not only made for the viewer, but where real people actually enjoy what they are doing — where there is a real connection and there can be laughs and things can go wrong, and that’s OK,” she said.

Subtitled “The Home of Self-Filmed Passion,” Lustery places emphasis on “genuine passion and realness.”

“The magic of these videos is that when you hand the control back to couples, the action becomes organic, authentic and truly reflective of real-life passion and lust,” Pappel said.

All videos are self-submitted by community members, but there are a few “rules.” Each video begins with the couple(s) sitting down to introduce themselves to the community, recounting stories about how they met, their relationship, their sex life and “just about anything else that they feel inclined to share,” Pappel said. Then they can get down to business.

Community is the heart of Lustery, she added. Couples who join are provided with a profile page that includes space for an image gallery, video collection, basic info and an in-depth introduction to them and their relationship.

Members also receive a unique “My Lustery” hub that provides community news and updates, including new announcements about new members and video, plus the latest updates from the Lustery blog.

Members also may use the “Ask Lustery” feature. Pappel is especially proud of “Ask Lustery.” She answers every question personally, sometimes in video form.
