BARCELONA (YNOT Europe Wire) – The CommerceGate Golf Tournament, set to take place March 5 as part of The European Summit in Barcelona, is open for registration. Registration is limited; the first seven golfers to register will see their fees waived.

“We are happy to provide this great opportunity for industry people to come together and enjoy themselves and do some networking in a nice setting,” said CommerceGate Chief Executive Officer Bjorn Skarlen. “It will be a great start to the show.

“Having our headquarters located in Barcelona and being a passionate golfer myself, I could not let this sponsorship opportunity slip by,” he added. “We always strive to make our sponsorship something show visitors can really enjoy.”

CommerceGate, an online payment processor, also plans to host a cocktail party March 6, in partnership with adult advertising network ExoClick. Slated for the trendy nightspot CDLC Barcelona, the party will begin at 22:00 and will feature a designated VIP area with an open bar.

“We are very happy to have major companies based in Barcelona — such as CommerceGate, ExoClick, Nova Telecom, Private and BaDoink — supporting us and seeing the value in having one of the largest conferences worldwide for our industry being hosted in Barcelona,” Andreas Bischoff, one of the organizers of The European Summit, said.

The golf tournament will tee off at 11a.m. March 5. Transportation to and from the course will be provided beginning at 9:30 a.m. For details or to make reservations, email Aidun.
