YNOT EUROPE – FreeOnes users selected the Wounded Warrior Project to receive the $10,000 donation collected by the babe site during its first annual Christmas charity drive.

The Wounded Warrior Project’s goals include raising awareness and enlisting public aid for the needs of service members injured in the line of duty since 9/11. The organization helps injured service members not only get back on their own feet, but also become advocates for and lifelines to other wounded veterans.

The charity was nominated by 2012 Miss FreeOnes, Vicky Vette.

“I chose this charity because our military deserves our love and respect,” she said. “They put their lives, and their families’ lives, on the line for us over and over again. Physical injury and post-traumatic stress are not jokes.

“[Veterans] have made serious sacrifices for us, and it’s the least we can do to take care of them when they return home,” Vette continued. “As they say, ‘the biggest casualty of all is being forgotten.’ I am grateful that FreeOnes stepped up this year to do a charity drive. More companies in adult should follow their example.”

FreeOnes launched the drive with $1,000 and then challenged other adult industry businesses and individuals to contribute, as well. Among those stepping up: Met-Art, 6Bot, City Sex, Chaturbate, Team Skeet, Anilos, Nubiles, Nubile Films, HotMovies, Pregnant Kristi, Saboom, Babes, X-Art, Briana Lee Extreme, Cumlouder, BrokerBabe, MyXXXPass, VNA Live, Catalina Cruz, Trusted Revenue and Video Box.

“We would like to thank everyone that participated in the 2012 Christmas charity drive,” said Petra, the organizer. “Without the sponsors’ gracious donations, the girls that helped us with the tough choice of choosing charities and the public that made the choice, we wouldn’t have reached the scale that we have. Ten thousand dollars may not seem like a lot, but it is going to do a lot of good for the Wounded Warrior Project.”
