Gazzman Reunites with Private

YNOT EUROPE – Nine years after his award-winning debut adult film premiered under the Private Media label, director Gazzman has reunited with the company that launched his career.

The Scottish Loveknot, a big-budget sexual epic purportedly based on Highlands legend, snagged the 2004 AVN Award for Best Foreign Feature. Scots-born Gazzman went on to win multiple other awards on both sides of the Atlantic and become the head of production at UK-based Harmony Films.

His new relationship with Barcelona-based Private is a multi-picture deal that will see two features released in April, followed by development of a “docu-porn” series in a style he calls Cinema-Gonzo.

“It’s a real honour and privilege to direct again for Private,” Gazzman said. “The films we’re developing will showcase some of the best reality-based docu-porn there is, mixing real scenarios with news documentary techniques and really hard sex to make standout films that could push porn to another level. It’s what I call Cinema-Gonzo, and it comes from my TV documentary past.

“Of course you need a handpicked team and solid bedrock of talent to make this happen,” he continued. “I’m proud to say I get to work with the best.”

Founded in 1965, Private is one of Europe’s leading adult studios. Over the past 12 months, the company has released 66 new titles. Despite a recent, very public and very expensive legal battle in the U.S., Private’s 2013 schedule is aggressive, calling for the production of more than six titles monthly.

“We are very delighted to have Gazzman back in our lineup of directors,” Production Manager Xavi Rocka said. “The quality of his productions and level of professionalism fits perfectly with our brand’s reputation.”

The studio seeks undiscovered male and female talent “with the right mix of assets and attitude” to supplement its existing roster of stars. To apply, visit PRVT.com/maletalent or PRVT.com/femaletalent.
