YNOT EUROPE – Not too many porn actors have national television devote a special show to them, much less one that lasts almost an hour. To make the extraordinary event even more special, the host of the show was renowned journalist Samanta Villar.

This has been the case with Marco Banderas, a Spanish actor living in Los Angeles. On Dec. 10, Banderas became the subject of a documentary entitled “The Other Banderas.”

A Spanish camera crew moved to Los Angeles, where for several days they shared the life of the porn actor, both professionally and personally. Banderas, known as “the Superman of porn” because of his record-setting feat of performing seven scenes in one working day, showed Villar his usual routine, at the same time putting a human face on a porn star.

Despite being recognized as a star in the U.S., Banderas has not achieved notoriety in his native country.

“The Other Banderas” is the fourth in a series called “Conexión Samanta,” in which the journalist attempts to show the more intimate side of celebrities. The first three broadcasts were devoted to a famous Spanish bullfighter, the world-chamption Spanish football team, and the international celebrity Paris Hilton.
