YNOT EUROPE – Fans have a few more days to weigh in about the best in adult entertainment televised by U.K. broadcaster Television X during the past year. The Soft and Hard Adult Film and Television Awards winners will be announced 9th March during a live ceremony beginning at 5 p.m. in London.

This year Television X will take the awards to a new level with industry sponsors, plus an exclusive awards ceremony and after party. Two additional SHAFTA categories have been added to the 2011 lineup: Best Online Scene will honor the scenes most watched on the broadcaster’s website, and Foreign Performer of the Year will recognise the increase in international talent in Television X programming.

The five nominees in the international talent category represent some of the hottest ladies working in Europe. AVN Award winner Andy San Dimas wooed British audiences with her sizzling girl-on-girl performance in the Brit/Yank fuck fest Layla Jade Does Hollywood. Feisty French stunner Angell Summers discovered new things to do between the neon lights of Amsterdam in Euro Anal All Stars, as did Czech filly Carla Cox. There’s not much Cox won’t do, and Television X viewers got to see it all. Busty Hungarian Aletta Ocean got to grips with Di Sergio’s piece in two separate scenes, but in Leather Freaks viewers were treated to her dominating the stud who loves being her slave boy. Final nominee Sofia Valentine also is nominated for Best Sex Scene for her PVC-clad performance in Euro Anal All Stars.

The SHAFTAs are the only U.K. adult industry awards that allow the public to choose the best in the British business. Sixty nominees span 15 categories, all of which may be voted on here.
