Tanya Tate Invited to Address Irish Law School Society

YNOT EUROPE – Liverpool-born adult performer Tanya Tate has been invited to address the University College Dublin Law Society Sept. 14. Unfortunately, Tate’s shooting schedule will keep her in Los Angeles, but she has offered to submit a prerecorded message to the group.

The society asked Tate to address students about the future of the adult entertainment industry and recount her experiences dealing with public perception of porn stars.

“I am very sad that I cannot take part in the event,” she said. “An opportunity as special as this I don’t take lightly, but I must honor my commitments. However, I still would like to participate and submit that I am willing to record a video discussing my opinions for the students of the UCD Law Society.”

The Dublin-based society is one of the oldest and most prestigious student societies in Ireland, claiming the largest membership of any student organization in Europe with more than 5,600 members. In the past, speakers from the realms of law, politics, sports, literature, television and theater have addressed the group. Former guests include U.S. President Bill Clinton, Hollywood star Jeremy Irons, The Simpsons voice talent Nancy Cartwright and Scrubs star John C. McGinley.

Tate launched her adult career in the UK 18 months ago. Last year, she precipitated a minor kerfuffle when she filmed Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour of Ireland for Television X, and UK newspapers revealed a popular footballer’s appearance as one of Tate’s sexual partners. She has received nominations for F.A.M.E. and Nightmoves awards.
