Mark Bower Tapped to Lead Gay Mobile Ad Network

HandshakeColorLONDON – Mobile adult advertising network Reporo has named gay adult marketing professional Mark Bower vice president of its gay division. Formerly a marketing and sales representative for AEBN’s San Franciso, Calif.-based gay division, Bower will assume responsibility for expanding Reporo’s network within the gay vertical. He will be based in London.

“Mark has extensive experience within the gay market and has a unique perspective, having been part of the amazing evolution of the online gay adult industry over the past 10 years,” Commercial Director Ben Keirle said. “The next few years will be all about the transition to mobile as the preferred distribution channel for adult content globally.

“I am excited to have Mark as part of our leadership team based here in London, to provide the vision, strategy and business development expertise to grow our gay adult mobile advertising network,” Keirle added.

Bower possesses more than a decade of sales and marketing experience. Prior to his tenure with AEBN, he served as vice president of marketing and sales at Toronto-based Sureflix and as vice president of strategy and business development at Montreal-based Gamma Entertainment.

“I am privileged to be joining a truly world-class team,” he said. “Reporo has established itself as the leader in this sector and is the first to roll out a dedicated gay mobile ad network. Given smartphone adoption rates, projected global mobile ad spending of $36 billion by 2017 and an expected quarter of a billion people accessing adult content via mobile, this truly is the next great frontier in the gay adult market.”

Bower may be contacted at his new email address.

G. Zisk Rice

A native of Minot, North Dakota, G. Zisk Rice left his heart and other parts of his anatomy in San Francisco during a Navy shore leave, leading to an embarrassing demonstration of "don't ask, don't tell" in action. After earning a degree from UC Berkeley, he wrote for AVN's now-defunct GAYVN magazine before joining YNOT's editorial team in 2011. His heart and other body parts still belong to the man who claimed them while Rice was on shore leave. The couple married in May 2013.
