YNOT EUROPE – Note to police officers and flight attendants: Moonlighting in porn may be hazardous to your career, as two Hungarian women discovered when they were “outed” last week.

Former Budapest police officer Livia Kovacs, 36, is out of a job after a colleague caught her off-duty act in a XXX film and informed her superiors. Technically, Kovacs wasn’t sacked for appearing as a dominatrix in the film, but for wearing her official police uniform to play the part. According to the Austrian Times, Kovacs also found unauthorized uses for department-issued handcuffs and baton.

Some might say there was a silver lining to this cloud: After news of Kovacs’ firing spread, she was “flooded with offers from producers to do more films,” she said.

Hungarian flight attendant Gloria Gucci kept her job in spite of moonlighting as a hardcore porn actress. Passengers on a recent flight recognized Gucci and alerted other airline staff, who passed the information on to management. Her bosses at Hungarian airline Malev offered Gucci a choice: Give up performing in porn because her sideline damaged the company’s image, or resign. The airline indicated it was reluctant to fire the woman because of her stellar work history.

Gucci chose to keep her flight-attendant job, but not without regret.

“It’s hard to leave my porn career behind, especially when I have been as successful as I have,” she told the Austrian Times. “If I ever do any porn in future, however, it will be solely for personal consumption.”
