FHM Survey: Pinoy Men Love Porn

YNOT EUROPE – The Filipino edition of FHM ended 2012 by publishing — What else? — the results of a survey about the sex lives of Filipino men.

The “Yearend [sic] Sex Survey” solicited input from the magazine’s readers and members of its online forums, though actual numbers and demographics weren’t disclosed. Few surprises arose. According to FHM, 94 percent of Pinoy men routinely watch porn “with no inhibitions whatsoever.” In fact, respondents indicated blue movies are their favorite diversion when intercourse isn’t an option.

Of the 94 percent of respondents who admitted to watching porn, 59 percent said their favorite movies feature traditional boy-girl sex, 16 percent said they prefer threesomes, 9 percent seek girl-girl action, 6 percent enjoy gangbangs (one girl and multiple guys), and 6 percent choose interracial sex.

Of the 6 percent who don’t watch porn, 4 percent said they have “stopped watching,” 1 percent haven’t yet indulged their curiosity but would like to, and 1 percent have no desire to view anything rated XXX.

About 36 percent of the men surveyed said they have sex regularly, 30 percent claim to get some on a daily basis and 27 percent find action “every once in a while.” Nine percent of men surveyed indicated they are virgins who turn to porn for masturbatory enhancement.

Most (56 percent) of the respondents who do indulge in sexual activity said they prefer heterosexual intercourse to any other kinds of play. Other popular choices included one-night stands at 27 percent, outdoor sex at 10 percent, threesomes at 5 percent and BDSM at 1 percent.

The survey also queried men about their attitudes regarding “extra service” establishments — dance clubs, massage parlors and the like that provide intimate encounters for an additional fee. Thirty-nine percent of Pinoy said they haven’t taken advantage of extra services, but 26 percent plan to sample the wares in the future. Of the 27 percent who admitted to paying for sex, 8 percent indicated they won’t avail themselves of that avenue again: 39 percent called the experience “all business,” 23 percent were unimpressed and 6 percent felt the experience was “sleazy.” A combined 31 percent indicated the return on their investment was sexy or “a fantasy come true.”
