Ovidie’s ‘Infidèlité’ Debuts on FrenchLover TV

YNOT EUROPE – After the success of the film Histoires de Sexe (Sex Stories), co-directors Ovidie and Jack Tyler have partnered with FrenchLover TV to release the new feature Infidèlité (Infidelity). Straddling pornographic film and mainstream cinema, Ovidie’s scenarios display an avant-garde oeuvre that evokes more edgy sexuality than pornography in the strictest sense.

Since 2009, FrenchLover TV has offered sexy yet educational programming for adult viewers. Ovidie serves as production director for the channel, which is available on CanalSat cable, satellite and IPTV, as well as on the web at FrenchLover.tv.

“Many elements have proved that our approach is appreciated and that there is real demand by an adult audience for explicit movies that are original and rely on real scenarios,” the French director said. “Indeed, at the first festivals and private screenings during which Histoires de Sexe was released, the film was widely acclaimed by the public, particularly women.”

Infidèlité is a comedy about adultery. Ovidie addresses love, sex, pleasures of the flesh and other topics through the lives of three couples who are fighting fatigue and the boredom that often visits long-term relationships.

The couples solve some of their problems by diversifying their sexual habits, proving in the context of the film that sex and relationships never die…they just change.

Infidèlité stars Graziella Diamond, Nomi, Rebecca Lord, Vladina, Delfynn Delage, Tania Ritz, Rodolphe Antrim, Phil Hollyday and Pascal Saint James. The film released 30 March on Infidelite-LeFilm.com. A schedule of public and private theatrical screenings is available on FrenchLover.tv.

The film’s broadcast premiere will occur at midnight 7 May on Canal+.
