LONDON – On June 28, UK adult television network Television X launched a brand-new on-demand movie service on YouView. TVXflix, offering high-definition adult moves 24/7, appears as an adult player within YouView’s On Demand section.

TVXflix is the first adult app on YouView, an on-demand TV service offering “catch-up” programming from BBC and other programming sources on 70 live digital channels. YouView is available as part of broadband subscription bundles from TalkTalk and BT, as well as independently from major retailers and electronics stores.

The new TVXflix service allows viewers to browse the entire Television X library for free. Films rent for £4.99 for 48 hours, or viewers may select an unlimited annual subscription for £9.99 per month. Either way, billing is discrete. Subscribers also receive free PC, Mac, tablet and smartphone access to the entire Television X catalogue online.

According to a Television X spokesperson, TVXflix is also the first adult application in the UK to fully age verify all consumers before allowing them to view any content. The age-verification requirement is part of a larger campaign established by the parent company to protect children from inappropriate content.
