YNOT EUROPE – There are a number of erotic art museums around the world. Italy has several, some larger; others smaller. The Polish capital Warsaw very soon will have one, as well.

As reported by the Polish national newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, the museum will serve to enrich the cultural environment in the capital city. This is not an initiative at the national level, but the project of a private collector with an assortment of erotic art objects he accrued over more than 20 years with the goal of founding a museum in his hometown.

Although often snubbed by mainstream critics, museums of erotic art are much visited by couples looking for excitement and by including families who want to spend an afternoon enjoying historical and cultural differences. The art of love has recorded intimate details about the human experience for thousands of years, starting with the first stone dildo and progressing through the ultra-modern machines of sex.
