Dublin-Based CommerceGate IPSP Platform Offers Benefits for Cam Sites

YNOT EUROPE – Dublin-based transaction services provider CommerceGate has made steady advances into the North American internet payment services market since its strategic alliance with U.S. IPSP SegPay in 2008. The recent integration of SegPay with 2much.net’s LiveCamNetwork 3.1 is another step in that direction.

According to 2much founder Mark Prince, joining forces with CommerceGate and SegPay has proved tremendously beneficial to the Montreal-based turnkey cam-site provider.

“We’re thrilled to finally be working with CommerceGate on the SegPay platform,” Prince said. “From billing consumers to easing business transactions with our professional customer base, CommerceGate has been outstanding in furnishing the flexibility we need.”

Using CommerceGate’s SegPay platform with their “complete video chat solution,” LiveCamNetwork 3.1, is “less expensive for us as well as providing the flexibility to offer alternatives to our customers,” Prince said. “Another great advantage of using CommerceGate with a LiveCamNetwork-powered site is the combination of its integrated fraud filters with our own AHMAD scrub system.”

According to CommerceGate Chief Executive Officer Bjorn Skarlen, the combination CommerceGate-SegPay platform offers online merchants international billing flexibility by providing extended processing relationships through a single provider.

“The CommerceGate U.S. IPSP solution [through SegPay] provides clients with two unique IPSP accounts through a single processing relationship,” he said. “Taking advantage of our flexibility has allowed [LiveCamNetwork] to now invoice their clients with our payment system as well as process transactions for their live cam network.”

CommerceGate representatives will be on hand during Cybernet Expo July 8-10 in San Francisco, Calif., in order to answer questions about the company’s services.
