YNOT EUROPE – Cablevision has scheduled the Playboy TV Latin America & Iberia channel Sextreme to begin airing in Spain and Latin America during June.

Programming on the channel varies, but includes movies, amateur reality shows and surprises from the internet. According to Playboy, all of the content is rated “extra-hot.” More than 20 new movies are expected to debut each month.

The channel is part of Cablevision’s new “Adult Pack,” meant to expand the broadcaster’s reach into the adult entertainment market.

Sextreme will have four main themes:

• Ranking Extreme: hardcore material with additional downloads online.
• Raw and Homemade: a library of amateur films.
• Extreme Practices: the hardest of current hardcore.
• Black Box: the most in-demand XXX films.

“The proliferation of adult offerings on new platforms and devices has revolutionized the genre, emphasizing consumers’ preference for the explicit,” said Mariano Varela, general manager of Playboy TV Latin America. “We identified this opportunity and built a 24-hour channel that focuses on high-demand content. Sextreme complements our portfolio of channels designed to meet audience desires and provides many bussiness opportunities for our affiliates.”
