It is actually a digital scanner that examines the contents of a hard disk looking for any type of pornographic image.

Specifically, this small object, manufactured by Paraben, is able to scan more than 70 thousand images in 90 minutes. What’s more, the manufacturer claims the stick does not leave the slightest trace of its passage.

All images containing nudity of any type will be uncovered with a guaranteed efficiency of 99 percent, Paraben claims. This is the result of some specific algorithms constructed so as to enable them to analyze the shades of colors, shapes and curves in images in order to help them discover those containing indicators of “human flesh.” Upon request, Paraben also provides a special pen drive to hold the evidence erased from the computer. The entire package costs $99.

It would be interesting to find out the sales figures of this nice trinket, with which it is thought, perhaps, to bring down the porn business. Paraben, however, isn’t talking.
