Sapphire Media Seeks New Porn Star

YNOT EUROPE – Dutch company Sapphire Media International, a European leader in multimedia distribution of adult content, is looking for a new face … and a sexy body to go with it. The company has launched an interactive talent search and invites viewers to help select the “Next European Porn Star.”

“This is exactly the kind of programming viewers love, as it provides an opportunity to get involved and influence the outcome,” said Stephanie Murdoch-Meyer, director of sales and marketing for Sapphire. “It is also highly promotable and forms part of Sapphire’s overall strategy of providing the best possible service to customers.”

Beginning June 4, a series of eight programs entitled “Search for a Star” will be broadcast throughout Europe on Sapphire Media Group’s DARING! TV and 100% Babes.

Hosted by Czech porn star Zuzanna, the segments will follow six candidates as they perform simple stripteases and other erotic demonstrations. In the final competition, participants must prove they have the on-camera presence and the motivation to succeed as a porn star by performing a full-on sex scene.

The series is produced by John Chalk TV and filmed in high-definition in the Czech Republic.

Voting takes place online or via mobile on the website Search For A Star, specifically designed for the show. The winner, chosen by viewers, will star in a porn film.

Based in Amsterdam with offices in Luxembourg and London, Sapphire Media International BV distributes 15 adult channels across Europe and Russia offering content from more than 900 partners including Blue Hustler, Hustler TV and Hustler HD/3D; Daring! TV, Nitegate, Girls Gone Wild and 100% Babes. The company also is a leading provider of adult content for IPTV, video on demand and mobile operators.
